Rachel McAdams wowed with jaw dropping attire and new hair makeover at the photocall and premiere of her new film Midnight in Paris on the opening day of the 64th Cannes Film Festival on Tuesday, May 11, 2011.
For the star studded premiere of the film, Rachel wore a show stopper Marchesa Fall 2011 red organza gown with ansheer long train with ruffled red edges and illusion cap sleeves.
She matched her sartorial splendor with dramatic hair makeover – honey blond color with platinum highlights. She rounded her perfect seductress look with side swept retro waves.

Earlier in the day, the 32-year-old Canadian actress wore a chic white Maxime Simoens frock at the film’s photocall. The short sleeve knee length dress had floral embellishments on shoulders and pockets.
She accessorized with towering Salvatore Ferragamo peep toe heels, Bavna earrings, a statement Brumani ring on her right hand ring finger.
Her hair, styled straight and framing her face with a middle parting, was apt for the outdoor morning presser.
She was accompanied to the event by costars Adrien Brody, Michael Sheen, and Owen Wilson; and director Woody Allen. French first lady Carla Bruny also stars in the film but was a no show at the festival.

At the Google I/O developer conference Rovio Mobile announced the web version of Angry Birds which is now available on Google’s Chrome Web Store. But that doesn’t prevent users on other browsers from enjoying the Angry Birds experience. We have tested the game on Mozilla Firefox 4, Opera 11 and on Internet Explorer 9. While it plays smooth on Firefox and Opera, it’s buggy on Internet Explorer. The game can be played in two formats, standard definition and high definition.

The Angry Birds for Google’s Chrome is currently available in Beta and it is available as a free download, it comes with 63 levels, and there even 7 levels which are exclusive to the Chrome web browser.
The Chrome app has been downloaded over 100,000 times and has an average 4.7 star rating.
The Chrome version of the game is a beta release and includes 63 levels out of the 120 in the original game and an additional seven special Chrome levels. But not everything is going right with the release. “Those nasty pigs don’t want you to proceed past Level 1-20. We are flying fast and are working on the fix,” says the description on the Angry Birds page on the Chrome Web Store.
While the mobile phone is the hot platform for game developers, but the Web is still thriving as a platform for gaming and this appearance of a popular game from an app to Web avatar further establishes the fact.
The Web version of the Angry Birds game is available at chrome.angrybirds.com

Google has decided to beef up the Chrome Web Store in hopes of making it more competitive against “traditional” app stores like Apple’s. Google will now only take a flat five percent of sales through the Chrome Web Store—not a third “like other app stores”—and developers will be able to begin offering purchases from within their Web apps. The store will also launch in 41 new languages and will be available to the entire Chrome installed user base, which may expand even further thanks to improved CR-48s and more Chromebook offerings.
The company announced the changes on Wednesday during the second day of Google I/O, where Google revealed that Chrome now has 160 million active users—up from 70 million just one year ago.
Google kicked off the presentation by saying that JavaScript is no longer a bottleneck for browsers and that the next stage is graphics, proving this point with a WebGL version of Microsoft’s fish demo at 60fps with about 2,000 fish from within Chrome. This opens the door to a plethora of new offerings in the Web Store, such as a Web version of the popular game Angry Birds, which its developer Rovio said wouldn’t have been possible a year ago. Google also demoed an interactive music experience with a 3D modeling tool from within the browser—which was met with applause from the audience.
Google also discussed the future of Chrome OS, with Sundar Pichai saying that the company is choosing to focus on the notebook form factor for the time being. More than 1 million people requested Google’s CR-48 notebook from last year, leading Google to update the hardware with a dual-core processor, a better trackpad (can we get a “hell yeah”?), and improved Flash support this time around.
The company also added file management features to Chrome OS so that CR-48 users can do things like play MP3s and video files locally. The file manager is also tied in with Web services, allowing users to upload photos to Picasa or open a Word document in Google Docs. “Any Web app can register themselves and handle your local files,” Google’s Kan Liu told the crowd. That’s not all, either: Google said it has been working with Citrix and VMware to ensure that conventional software could be used through the Chrome OS browser, which we think is pretty awesome.
Google also announced that it is adding offline support for Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Docs for Chrome OS users, expected to be available this summer. And, the company said it is even branching out from the CR-48—Pichai said that Google is working with Samsung and Acer on Chromebook products. Samsung’s offering will cost $499 and will come with 3G, an advertised 8-second boot, 8-hour battery life, and 12.1-inch display, while Acer’s $349 Chromebook will have an 11.6-inch screen and 6.5-hour battery life. The two notebooks will be available to the public from Amazon and Best Buy on June 15 in the US, UK, France, Netherlands, Italy, and Spain, and Google says it will have various carrier partners available for each country

The ‘Bad Girls’ are back! They could care less whether you love them or hate them, but one thing’s for sure, the ladies of this season’s ‘The Bad Girls Club’ are bad to the bone.
Check out this exclusive clip of ‘The Bad Girls Club’ season 5 before it premieres tonight at 9PM ET on Oxygen.
The bad girls have taken to the beaches of Miami this season, following in the reality footsteps of ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ and season 2 of ‘Jersey Shore’ and it seems that the beaches are still filled with drama. The sassy ladies hit the clubs and each other after some love triangles, exotic vacations, and of course, vindictive backstabbing.
